As a part of my ongoing struggle to discover innovative products (and in-class activities that actually work) I'm going to pass along my findings to you. To begin this regular segment on my blog, I'd like to introduce you to my page devoted to Oppositional Defiant Disorder (O.D.D.)
You may have students who have been diagnosed with O.D.D. and want to know more about how to work with them. You may also have parents who want a program that can help them handle their child. The O.D.D. Lifeline is your answer to both these questions.
It's not a quick fix but it is filled with stories of failure and triumph that are meant to empower the adults who want to help their children reach their fullest potential. The concepts are solid and are what most any parent would get in a weekly session with a counselor.
